Participants arrive in Maputo, Mozambique (most participants will depart the US, flying through Johannesberg, South Africa, before going on to Maputo - this can be done without any overnight stopovers). Joberg to Maputo should be a one-way ticket, as we will be going by road back to Joberg at end of trip.

While in the village, we will begin each day with breakfast at 6:30 am at the guest house, and then travel to the worksite. Building starts at about 7:30 am, stopping for mid-morning tea and lunch, both of which are provided on-site. We resume work at about 12:30.
The day will end at about 3:30 pm with travel back to our lodging, with dinner between 6 and 7 pm. Evenings are for team meetings, social activities with other volunteers, time for reading, or simply relaxing. Cultural activities may be planned by the host, which we won't know until our arrival.
